How long does it take for my account to be activated?
We do have an automated provisioning system to ensure the VPS's are setup in a couple of hours once your order passes the fraud check. However, our XEN packages might need a few more hours if it is installed via an ISO.
What type of support do you offer?
We offer 24/7 round the clock support via our own helpdesk. We guarantee a 30 minute response time for all support queries. All pre-sales and billing queries will be handled by our Sales team who operate between hours 09.00 AM to 05.00 PM PST.
Can I host adult content and/or proxy sites?
We do allow adult content hosting or proxy setup that doesn't violate our TOS and are legal in the United States.
Can I get more than additional 5 IPs?
Due to the shortage of IPv4 IPs, we at VPSnoc are obligated to ensure that IPs aren't issued wastefully. As long as you can justify your need for additional IPs (setting up SSL sites or nameservers) we would be happy to assign it to your VPS.
Do you offer an uptime guarantee?
Definitely! You need your VPS to be available 24x7. If your monthly uptime is below 99.9% we will credit your account to the tune of your monthly fee. (This does not include scheduled maintenance to maintain and improve your service, or downtime that is out of our control.)
Can you migrate my websites from another provider?
We'd love to. contact us with your current provider account details and we will get right on it.
Can I install OS of my choice?
Yes, with our new XEN packages it is possible to create OS of your choice. All you need to provide is an ISO image which can be mounted and installed via VNC.
How do you monitor your servers?
We have a unique 3 way monitoring of hardware nodes to ensure we are the first ones to know of any server wide issues. All main nodes are monitored using our Nagios servers (every 5 minute interval) and we have setup a trigger which calls our support team in case of server down and also generates an email notifying the server incident.
